Gracehill Moravian Church

Church Road, Gracehill, Ballymena, Co Antrim BT 42 2NL

Welcome to Gracehill Moravian Church

We are a friendly Church who meet together as followers of Jesus, and as friends, for worship each Sunday morning.  Our Sunday School joins us for the first third of the service and then goes to its own age related sessions in the Church Hall.  We also have a crèche room in the hall available for parents with babies if they wish to use it.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday in the month as part of our Morning Service and all who love the Lord Jesus are welcome to join us.

We usually have refreshments in Church after our Morning Service which gives us a great chance to catch up on news and build fellowship.
On alternate Sunday evenings our Youth Fellowship meets in the Church Hall.

Boys Brigade meets on Monday evenings and Girls Brigade meets on Tuesday evenings in our Hall.
Baptisms and Marriages, by arrangement with the Minister.

Our large modern hall is available to rent for community use.

Gracehill Moravian Church is set in the middle of Gracehill Moravian Settlement and this village was designated the first Conservation Area in Northern Ireland.  Many visitors come to visit Gracehill and tours can be arranged with local guides.

The church, the Old School and the oldest houses are built around a square with tall lime trees and the famous ‘Montgomery oak’. These buildings were not always family homes, and each building has its own interesting history.

A short walk beyond Cennick Hall leads to God’s Acre, not just the burial ground of the church, but a haven of peace and quiet.

More information about the history of the Gracehill settlement can be found on our website or in the various books in our Church bookstall.
